TOADD Onlus manages the “La Scuolina di Addis”, which is the main initiative of our organization.
The Scuolina is located in Yeka Forest, one of the poorest areas of Addis Ababa, Ethiopia and was established as a place for gathering and education. We started in 2013 with 60 children in a small rented facility. Over the years the little school, legally recognized by the Ethiopian government, has consolidated its presence, becoming a reference point for entire families in the area. So far we have followed about 1,600 children, in the various classes, from the first year until the end of the school cycle.
