The mothers, very often single and with precarious jobs, are a mainstay of our project at Scuolina . They are addressed by a project that aims to promote personal initiative among people still in their youth. Various vocational courses in sewing, cooking and wood marquetry have been organized. Since the mothers who attend the courses have to take time off from work, TOADD has also allocated funds to support them financially during the training period and to pay for the transportation . A good number of the mothers who attended the courses were later able to enter the working world.
